Formed in 2021, MORTUAIRE are a death metal band hailing from Bordeaux. Comprised of musicians from well-established bands on the national and international scene - Year of No Light, Bombardement and The Great Old Ones among them. After releasing a three-song demo in 2023 under the French label WORLD EATER RECORDS, the band is now set to unveil their debut full-length, Monde Vide.

Monde Vide comprises five songs with a total runtime of 36 minutes, fully displaying MORTUAIRE's considerable power and potential. Those quick with math will note similarly extended song-lengths here, just like on the demo, but the quintet's patient-yet-propulsive songwriting make those generous minutes just melt away; MORTUAIRE are nothing if not urgent in their intensity. Still, the world-eating and sometimes-stomping tank-grooves they construct here draw reverent influence from such iconic bands as Bolt Thrower, Autopsy, Slayer and Corrupted, with their execution - "locked in yet loose," to put it pithily - really rendering MORTUAIRE a tasteful aspect. Additionally, the subtle infusion of doom makes these mountains of miasmic darkness seem even larger than they already are, particularly the nearly ten-minute title track. The final dusting on an already acidic cake is the production: absolutely pro, absolutely punishing, total DREAD and DEATH in 3D. Prepare to both drown and be crushed by Monde Vide!

Old school death metal fans were striked by the announcement of Serpent Corpse's debut album to be released in early July on Temple Of Mystery Records; Now it's World Eater Records turn to hit metalheads with the pre-order release of Serpent Corpse's first 4-track demo reissue in high quality vinyl format.
Serpent Corpse hails from Montreal, their 90's influenced death metal is raw and vicious, their first recording shows that the band have managed to take the best of the brutality of the punk and hardcore scenes to reincarnate the essence of early death metal. While some newer death metal bands sound flat and boring, Serpent Corpse are fiercely aggressive and take no prisoners.
Just like the first two installments, this third release from World Eater Records is a limited 12” with high-quality screen printing on B-side, carefully packaged in a top notch screen-printed cover.

Worthy heir of the 80’s most obscure and biting early death metal bands, this new french act gives a fatal sword strike under the form of three hard-hitting songs which overthrow the codes and defeat the commonplace of the genre.
The throbbing chaos has just begun, fans of ENTOMBED, AUTOPSY, NIHILIST or BOLT THROWER must be warned.
This was released as a demo by the band last year and WORLD EATER has the honor to give it the vinyl offering it deserves.

Humankind does not have sufficient ramparts to stop the magmatic frenzy coming from the bowels of the earth. Mental and physical tortures merge in a tragic whirlwind. Imagine being tied to an electric chair and immersed in a bath of acid at the same time and you get the apocalyptic theater where EKSTASIS plays.
This incandescent fire they described as a melding of early-90s Swedish death metal and Teutonic thrash with a sharp and maniacal execution is unique and distinctive.
Leaving no respite, the savage machinery goes on. The band does not appear out of nowhere,
EKSTASIS’ members have extremely impressive background : Dave Williams used to play in CRUSADES, BLACK TOWER, while Damien Moyal has fronted many influential hardcore bands : MORNING AGAIN, SHAI HULUD, AS FRIENDS RUST.
Since the recording of these songs, they have combined their forces with Fred Estby (DISMEMBER, CARNAGE).
